You report changes to the Marketplace by updating your application.
You can update your application online, by phone, or in-person — but not by mail.
The number consists of the applicant's last four digits of his or her social security number (e.g., 7777), followed by the two-digit birth month (e.g., 01), followed by the two-digit birth day (e.g., 02), and finally, the four-digit birth year (e.g., 1963).
There are several methods of providing insurance information.
The fastest way is to update your insurance information online.
If your insurance company notifies us that you cancelled a policy, and no other active policy is reported by another insurance company, we send a letter notifying you we need insurance information.
This is sent to the address that you have provided to the department.
It is separate from the policy’s liability coverage.
